Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has signed a historic MoU with the Government of Madhya Pradesh at the Global Investors Summit 2025 held in Bhopal. The MoU has an outline of financial assistance of ₹ 26,800 crore to support the state’s power utilities, which confirms the PFC’s commitment to increase the energy infrastructure of Madhya Pradesh.

Signed in the presence of Chaturvedi. Senior officials of both PFC and MPPMCL were also present on the occasion.
The objective of this strategic partnership is to strengthen the power sector of the state, promote sustainable development and improve the efficiency of power utilities in Madhya Pradesh.
Financial assistance will support various initiatives, promote the state’s energy infrastructure and will facilitate further development in the region. This cooperation underlines the important role of PFC in promoting India’s energy sector, forwarding progress and supporting state-level initiatives to increase power supply and distribution.
