At the 17th Environment and Energy Conclave, TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute), Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), and The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), taking a major step towards a low-carbon future.
This partnership aims to establish a Centre in Kolkata dedicated to conducting action-oriented and policy research on various sustainability issues.
During the event, Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Director General of TERI, reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to sustainable development and discussed the key challenges facing India’s journey to Net Zero in the panel discussion.
