Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri recently emphasized the important role of Assam in shaping India’s energy landscape and the future energy landscape of the country. In this context, ONGC is strengthening its commitment to the energy development of Assam through a series of strategic initiatives.
ONGC President Arun Kumar Singh visited the ONGC Pavilion, where he praised the team’s efforts and expressed his keen interest in the innovative drilling rig model on the performance. The tour focused on ONGC ahead of the technology and operational excellence.
As part of its ongoing efforts, ONGC has signed three compromise memories with the Government of Assam, which is an important step in strengthening the energy infrastructure of the region. These agreements include the discovery of rare soil elements and important minerals, an investment of ₹ 15,000 crore in five years in the establishment and exploration and development of bio-currency production facility.
These initiatives underline ONGC’s commitment to empower the energy future of Assam and support the sustainable development of the state. With these strategic steps, the ONGC is ready to play an important role in Assam’s energy and industrial growth.
