In a significant step forward for healthcare in Tripura, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoA) was signed between ONGC, Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) and Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital on 14th October 2024, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha.
The MoU paves the way for setting up a 20-room state-of-the-art ward, which is part of a modern three-level facility and will provide advanced super-speciality medical services. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of healthcare for the residents of Tripura.
The Chief Secretary of Tripura, Jitendra Kumar Sinha, IAS, was also present at the event. This project reflects ONGC’s commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and underlines ONGC’s determination towards enhancing the welfare of the society and strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of the country.
