Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has commenced the monetisation of Chinnewala Tibba Gas field under DSF-II, marking a major milestone in its Rajasthan Kutch Onland Exploratory Asset.
The company began sales of 1.0 LSCMD of natural gas on August 25, 2025. The first flow of gas has been seamlessly integrated into the regional power grid through Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL), Ramgarh, from ONGC’s Gamnewala Gas Collection Station.
This achievement has been made possible through close collaboration with Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), GAIL (India) Limited, Oil India Limited, and RRVUNL, showcasing strong industry synergy in advancing India’s energy goals.
With the commencement of gas supplies from Chinnewala Tibba, ONGC has reinforced its role as a trusted partner in ensuring reliable energy delivery to power India’s growth.
