Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad to strengthen long-term collaboration in research, innovation, and technology development for the hydrocarbon sector.
The agreement was signed at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, marking a significant step toward advancing indigenous technologies across the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of India’s energy industry.
The MoU was signed by IIT(ISM) Dean (CEP) Keka Ojha and ONGC Chief, Production JV Assets & Business Development, Kuldip Mukherji.
The ceremony was held in the presence of ONGC Director (Strategy & Corporate Affairs) Arunangshu Sarkar.
The partnership aims to accelerate cutting-edge research, boost production technologies, and strengthen India’s energy security through joint innovation. It positions academia and industry as collaborators in shaping future-ready energy solutions.
