ROil India Limited (OIL) presented its strategic vision for energy diversification and sustainable growth at the India Country Session of the AAPG International Conference & Exhibition (ICE) 2025 in Rio de Janeiro.
The session was chaired by Sylvia Maria Couto Dos Anjos of Petrobras and featured a high-level Indian delegation led by Vinod Seshan, Director General, Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Representing Oil India Limited, Trailukya Borgohain, Director (Operations), highlighted OIL’s role as India’s national oil company with a diversified portfolio spanning exploration and production, pipelines, refining, petrochemicals, renewables, and critical minerals.
In his address, Borgohain underscored offshore exploration as a key driver of OIL’s future growth strategy, noting the company’s increasing focus on leveraging advanced technology, embracing sustainable practices, and pursuing frontier opportunities. He emphasized that the company’s approach to high-impact exploration is built on a foundation of data-driven analytics, cutting-edge technologies, and strategic collaborations with global partners.
The presentation reinforced OIL’s commitment to building a future-ready energy ecosystem that balances innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity while advancing India’s long-term energy security goals.
