As part of the Aspiring District Transformation Project for the financial year 2024-2025, Oil India Limited exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dhubri district administration. The arrangement aims to enhance the healthcare facilities throughout the district.
Others include providing medical equipment sets to 11 Block Primary Health Centres (BPHCs), 8 BPHCs will be equipped with radiant warmers for newborn care, and four BPHCs located at South Shalmara will be supplied with solar inverters to ensure the provision of reliable power. Besides, OIL will upgrade the Newborn Stabilization Units in 3 BPHCs located in Halakura, Golakganj and Chapman.
These endeavors seek to improve the district’s maternal and infant mortality rate, enhance the overall healthcare infrastructure and provide better healthcare services to the local populace.
