Oil India Limited (OIL) has partnered with Mission Smile to launch Project OIL Muskaan, a healthcare initiative aimed at offering comprehensive cleft care and surgeries for 200 children born with cleft lip and palate deformities in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura.
This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aligns with India’s development priorities in improving healthcare and reducing inequalities, as well as the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP&NG), Government of India’s focus on promoting health and nutrition.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this project was signed at the Mission Smile Guwahati Comprehensive Cleft Care Centre by Shri Debashis Bora, CGM (Field Administration) of OIL, and Mr. Conrad Dennis, CEO of Mission Smile, Guwahati. The signing was witnessed by Dr. Apon Jyoti Das, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, along with senior officials from OIL, doctors, and representatives from Mission Smile.
