Under the aegis of Oil India’s CSR initiative, the Oil India Rural Development Society (OIRDS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Health Mission (NHM) in the esteemed presence of Assam’s Hon’ble Chief Minister,
Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The MoU entails a financial support of Rs. 2.50 crore for the procurement of 25 hemodialysis machines for the NHM under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program (PMNDP). The agreement was signed by Shri Bhairab Bhuyan, President of OIRDS, and the Mission Director of NHM.
This CSR contribution from Oil India will significantly bolster NHM’s efforts to enhance healthcare services for underprivileged communities, fostering sustainable health outcomes.
