As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Oil India Limited (OIL) has installed Solar Inverter Loading Ratios (ILRs) at five key locations in Dhubri, an Aspirational District in Assam, during the financial year 2023-24. This effort, under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between OIL and the District Commissioner of Dhubri, aims to ensure uninterrupted power supply, significantly improving healthcare services in the region. The facilities benefitting from this initiative include Berbhangi State Dispensary, Jarua MPHC, Office (FW) Dhubri, Fakirganj Model Hospital, and the DPMUU, NHM, Dhubri. The District Commissioner, along with the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) and NHM Programme Manager, has expressed their gratitude for OIL’s vital contributions.
In a parallel effort to transform the healthcare landscape in another Aspirational District, Goalpara, OIL has also signed an MoU with the District Administration during FY 2023-24. This collaboration focuses on the supply and installation of critical medical equipment at the 200-bed District Civil Hospital in Bhalukdubi. The hospital, which serves over 1,000 outpatients daily from neighboring regions, has seen significant improvements in its medical facilities. Through this initiative, OIL remains committed to addressing healthcare gaps and enhancing the well-being of communities in Assam.
