Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, 2025: The Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) conducted an inspection of the Aluru–Sabbavaram section of the Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor in Andhra Pradesh. The visit was aimed at assessing project progress, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring timely completion.
Collector of Anakapalli accompanied the Chairman at the Sabbavaram interchange, while NHAI officials, including Member (Projects), Regional Office Vijayawada, and Project Director Vizianagaram, along with consultants and concessionaires, provided detailed updates on the project status.
In alignment with the Swachhata Hi Sewa 2025 initiative, the Chairman participated in a tree plantation drive at the Jami interchange on the Korlam–Kantakapalli section, joined by senior NHAI officials, reinforcing the authority’s commitment to sustainability and green infrastructure development.
The inspection highlighted NHAI’s continued focus on enhancing road safety, operational efficiency, and sustainable practices while progressing on key economic corridors that strengthen regional connectivity and economic growth.
