Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), has laid the foundation stone for the State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC) and Renewable Energy Monitoring Centre (REMC) at the Power Development Department Complex in Choglamsar, Leh.
POWERGRID has been designated as the Project Implementation Agency (PIA) for this development. Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD of POWERGRID, provided an overview of the project to the Lieutenant Governor.
The event was attended by senior officials from POWERGRID, Ladakh Administration, and the Power Development Department (PDD), marking a significant step forward in enhancing Ladakh’s energy infrastructure.
