Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been awarded a patent for its breakthrough innovation, the “EngUniflowChakra” Air Distribution Duct System for a Fired Heater System, marking a major advancement in fired-heater technology and energy efficiency.
The patented design streamlines air distribution to each burner of a fired heater without the use of expansion joints, significantly reducing maintenance costs and simplifying manufacturing processes. By adhering to specific geometric principles, the system eliminates the need for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling and costly internal duct modifications, making it a cost-effective solution for large-scale industrial applications.
