Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has been entrusted by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) with the construction of India’s largest Multi Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) at Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.
Under this agreement, DFCCIL will execute both internal yard development and external rail connectivity works, marking a significant milestone under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework. The project, appraised by the PPP Appraisal Committee (PPPAC), is set to transform India’s logistics ecosystem by seamlessly integrating rail-based transport with world-class multimodal facilities.
The upcoming MMLH Dadri, being developed under the Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal (GCT) Policy – Schedule 1, will rank among the largest freight terminals in the country. It will house 23 rail lines, including:
• 8 container handling lines
• 3 steel handling lines
• 3 cement handling lines
• 4 examination lines
• 5 long-haul R&D lines
Strategically located at New Dadri, the hub will connect directly with the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), ensuring faster, smarter, and more efficient freight movement across the country.
The MMLH Dadri is expected to be a game-changer for India’s logistics and supply chain sector, boosting trade competitiveness and strengthening India’s vision of becoming a global logistics powerhouse.
