Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) and the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) have signed an agreement under the Dual Category Recognition (AB) framework, to be executed at DFCCIL’s Heavy Haul Institute (HHI).
The agreement was signed by Sandesh Shrivastava, ED/Project, and Col. Mayank Upadhya, GGM/Training & Research from DFCCIL. On behalf of NCVET, the signatories included Debashree Mukherjee, IAS, Secretary, MSDE; Dr. Vinita Aggarwal, IES (Retd.), Executive Member; Dr. Neena Pahuja, Executive Member; and Col. Gunjan Chowdhary, Secretary to Council & Director, NCVET.
With this milestone partnership, all courses conducted by DFCCIL at HHI will now carry NCVET accreditation, adding value to training programs and creating a nationally recognized benchmark for skills in freight operations and logistics.
The collaboration underscores DFCCIL’s commitment to capacity building and workforce development in India’s rapidly expanding logistics sector, aligning with the Government of India’s broader vision of skill enhancement and professional excellence.
