Delhi Chief Minister Ms. Atishi visited the NCC Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantt on January 15, 2025. During her address, she lauded the cadets for their exceptional contributions to individual skill development and their selfless service toward national and social progress. She underlined the importance of Republic Day celebrations, urging the cadets to honor the sacrifices made during the freedom struggle and uphold the values of freedom, unity, and justice essential to nation-building.
The Chief Minister praised the cadets for their confidence, discipline, and patriotism, emphasizing that these qualities not only benefit them personally but also inspire the larger community. She encouraged the young cadets to embody the principles of service, dedication, and nationalism, expressing faith in their potential to significantly impact society and the nation.
As part of the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the Guard of Honour, followed by an impressive band performance by cadets from Birla Balika Vidyalaya, Pilani, Rajasthan. She toured the Flag Area, where cadets from 17 directorates creatively showcased social themes. At the Hall of Fame, Ms. Atishi was briefed on the rich history, training initiatives, and achievements of the NCC. She also explored innovative projects by cadets from across the states.
The visit concluded in the Pratap Hall auditorium with a vibrant cultural program performed by the cadets, leaving a lasting impression of their talent and dedication.
