Millions of students across India are eagerly waiting for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Result 2026. According to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Phase 1 exam results are expected to be declared by April 20, 2026. Phase 2 results will follow by June 30, 2026.
This year, CBSE conducted Class 10 exams in two phases for the first time, as part of its ongoing education reforms. The exams were held earlier in 2026, and the board is in the final stages of evaluation and verification.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR RESULT:
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE result website — cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the Class 10 Result 2026 link
Step 3: Enter your Roll Number, School Number, Centre Number, and Date of Birth
Step 4: Click Submit — your result will appear on screen
Step 5: Download and save your result as a PDF
ALTERNATIVE: Results will also be available on DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in) — the government’s official digital document platform.
- CBSE has introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) for Class 12 answer sheets, shifting to a fully digital evaluation system. Class 10 continues to be evaluated physically.
- The board has also introduced an Open-Book Exam (OBE) for Class 9 from the 2026-27 session.
- A special assessment scheme has been introduced for Class 12 students in West Asian countries, given the ongoing Middle East war.
IMPORTANT ADVICE:
Don’t panic about results. CBSE provides compartment exam options for students who need to improve their scores. Focus on what comes next — whether that is Class 11 subject selection or entrance exam preparation.
