Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has earned a place among the Global Top 100 Corporate Startup Stars (CSS) 2025, an international recognition awarded by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in partnership with Mind the Bridge. BPCL is the only Indian organisation featured on this year’s prestigious global list.
BPCL has been honoured as one of the world’s leading corporate supporters of startup innovation, highlighting its efforts to collaborate with early-stage ventures and strengthen global innovation ecosystems.
The award was announced at a ceremony hosted at the ICC headquarters in Paris, where the 2025 Corporate Startup Stars list was unveiled.
The Top 100 includes companies selected from the Forbes Global 2000 and Fortune Global 500, representing organisations that demonstrate exceptional leadership in open innovation and startup collaboration.
The recognition forms part of the Corporate Startup Stars Awards 2025, announced during the annual ICC global innovation showcase.
The global jury highlighted BPCL’s strong commitment to nurturing new-age solutions through its startup support platform Ankur. Since 2016, BPCL has supported 30 promising startups working on transformative technologies in energy, digital solutions, sustainability, and operations.
BPCL has established the BPCL Ankur Fund, designed to invest in high-potential early-stage startups aligned with the company’s strategic priorities and long-term growth roadmap. This initiative aims to accelerate India’s innovation landscape while strengthening BPCL’s future-ready transformation.
