Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Panchkula Unit, has been conferred the prestigious ‘Vishisht Award’ (2024–25) by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC/NARAKAS), Panchkula, in recognition of its sustained and exemplary efforts in the implementation and promotion of the Official Language.
Vishisht Award has been instituted by NARAKAS-Panchkula as a top-tier recognition, positioned above existing awards and modelled on a role-model framework. The honour acknowledges organisations that demonstrate consistent leadership, innovation, and institutional commitment in advancing the use of the Official Language in official work.
Award was received on behalf of the unit by the General Manager and Unit Head, BEL Panchkula. The recognition underscores the unit’s structured approach, employee participation, and continuous initiatives aimed at strengthening Official Language usage across administrative and operational functions.
In addition to the unit-level honour, two officials from BEL Panchkula were recognised as Best Official Language Officers for their individual contributions and effective implementation practices. Several employees of the unit were also felicitated for securing prizes in various NARAKAS-organised competitions, reflecting widespread engagement and excellence across the workforce.
Achievement highlights BEL Panchkula’s people-driven culture and its commitment to aligning organisational practices with national language policy objectives. Through consistent efforts, capacity building, and inclusive participation, the unit continues to set benchmarks in Official Language implementation.
