Sh. Rajiv Dhankher has assumed the position of Director (Projects & Planning) at the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
An officer from the 1992 batch of the Indian Railways Service of Engineers (IRSE), Sh. Dhankher brings three decades of experience in project planning and execution, having held numerous key positions.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and a Master of Technology from IIT, Delhi. Sh. Dhankher also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from MDI, Gurugram, and an LLB from Delhi University.
Before joining DMRC, he served as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) in the Ajmer Division of Indian Railways, where he oversaw the commissioning of the Udaipur-Himmat Nagar Railway section. Additionally, he worked as the Chief Project Manager in the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) for the Sahibabad-Ghaziabad-Duhai priority section.
Sh. Dhankher also played a significant role in the commissioning of the Jammu-Udhampur Rail Link Project.
