On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special camp was organized at the Central Hospital of Railways as part of the centenary celebrations. The camp was inaugurated by Dr JP Rawat, Chief Medical Director, North Central Railway. In his address, he laid special emphasis on women empowerment and eliminating gender discrimination

On this occasion, an interaction session was also organized under the leadership of Additional Chief Medical Director (Administration) Dr. Kalpana Mishra. In which Dr. Usha Yadav (ACHD), Dr. Manju Lata Handu (ACHD), Dr. Reena Aggarwal (ACMS), Chief Nursing Superintendent Mrs. Ritu Masih Sumanti and the women present in the camp participated. Dr. Kalpana Mishra discussed the opportunities and challenges available to women in the current context. The people present at the camp took a pledge to empower women for the inclusive development of the nation.

On this occasion, Medical Director of Central Hospital, Dr. SK Handu and Senior Divisional Medical Officer, Dr. Anurag Yadav also congratulated the women present in the camp and wished for their all-round development.

Chief Nursing Superintendent Mrs. Modista Topno, Sita Rani Gupta, Mr. Jitendra Verma, Senior Nursing Superintendent Tarun Jain, Chief Pharmacist Rajkumar and Mr. Shravan Kumar Health Education Broadcaster played an important role in organizing the camp.
