SECL Vigilance Department team visited Gevra, Kusmunda, Korba and Chirimiri Areas today. This team under the guidance of CVO Shri Jayant Kumar Khamari, reviewed the preparations being made in the mine for the upcoming monsoon season.
As per the instructions from the Ministry of Coal, the team inspected the condition of haul roads and coal transportation roads before the onset of monsoon to avoid the possibility of any problem in dispatch due to poor maintenance of roads and dispatch points. The team also checked the quality of haul road/coal transport road by taking a sample.
The team also examined all the ongoing contracts related to maintenance of haul road/coal transport road and dispatch points and also inspected the ongoing works.
