The countdown program leading up to the 10th International Yoga Day, celebrated with tremendous enthusiasm at NTPC’s Community Hall, exemplified a robust commitment to health and wellness. Organized by the District Administration in close collaboration with NTPC and facilitated by the Ishan Yoga Foundation under the expert guidance of Dr. Hiren Sarkar, the event attracted over 100 eager participants keen on exploring the transformative benefits of yoga.

Leading the program was Shri Induri S Reddy, GM (O&M), who passionately emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into daily routines for sustained physical and mental well-being. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Smt. Kabita Deka, Additional District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, who lauded NTPC and the District Administration for their proactive efforts in promoting health initiatives.

Also in attendance were distinguished officials including Shri A K Singh, AGM (FM), and Shri Onkar Nath, AGM (HR), NTPC Bongaigaon, who actively participated and encouraged the attendees. The session encompassed a variety of yoga asanas and breathing exercises meticulously designed to enhance flexibility, strength, and mental clarity, fostering a palpable sense of positive energy and enthusiasm among all participants.
