In a major initiative to promote digital education, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched 28 free online courses on the government’s SWAYAM platform. These courses are available to all students — from school level to undergraduate — completely free of charge, with certification provided upon completion.
SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is the Government of India’s official free online education platform. It hosts hundreds of courses from top universities and institutions, all available for free. Certificates are available at a small fee after clearing a proctored exam.
CBSE’s 28 courses on SWAYAM cover a wide range of subjects including:
